Four Disclaimers

  1. Many of the recipes are blended. So you’ll need either a blender or food processor (or the willingness to buy one).

  2. We assume you have access to a health food store and fresh fruits and vegetables. If you’re not near a health food store, you may have to order some ingredients online, or use frozen vegetables in place of fresh.

  3. The serving sizes are for one person (you). If you cook for several people, you can double or triple the recipes, as needed.

  4. Depending on your special needs and food allergies, it can take 2-5 business days to create your custom menu. However, we start designing it the same day we receive your intake form. So there are no refunds.

To be more specific, some nutrients are harder to absorb from vegetarian foods. For example, typically only 10% – 20% of the iron in vegetarian foods is absorbed by your body (vs. the “heme” iron in meat and fish).
