Who’s Behind The VegHealth Institute?
Our Team

Anand
Co-Owner
Anand blends her passion for health and vitality to support the team, our students, and our community. She has a long career as a coach and used her experience to help our members who wish to take their knowledge of healthy eating and share it with the world. Outside of VegHealth, she loves hiking in the great outdoors, preparing vegan meals, singing and traveling.

Vj
Co-Owner and Head of Strategy
Vj oversees the VegHealth strategy so that we can impact as many peoples’ lives as possible. After moving to the US and gobbling up the Standard American Diet, Vj ballooned up to 220 pounds. He got a wake up call when his friend was diagnosed with a heart condition and his nephew asked him if he was pregnant. He switched to a living food plant based diet and dropped 70 pounds in 3 months. He has lived a plant-based lifestyle for the last 18 years. He is a certified yoga instructor, life-long meditator, and is passionate about healing the world. He also has a long history of creating tech start-ups. He lives in the Bay Area area with his wife, Anand Anma.

Erin
Program Contributor
Erin has made huge contributions to our projects. Erin has her Master’s of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and has prior experience leading large scale programs around medical research and medical device design. Erin recently dedicated her work (and life) towards educating people on the research behind lifestyle changes to fight and prevent disease. She believes there is too much suffering in the world that could be prevented with diet, and wants to spread this awareness. Outside of work, Erin will be deep in the mountains on a backpacking trip, in her kitchen making a new plant-based recipe, or on a flight to her next world adventure.

Sam
Customer Support Leader
Sam is our point person for student questions and customer service. Sam has a number of years of experience working in the customer service industry and strives to answer questions and provide help in a timely and friendly manner.

Nitish
Technology Guru
Nitish takes care of all things “Tech” behind the scenes. Without him, we would not be able to get our message out to the world. He works as a full stack developer with a keen interest and skill around debugging complex system challenges. Nitish has been vegetarian his entire life, and has never tasted meat. Outside of work he love exploring different trails, goofing around with his dog and at the end of the day he loves cooking different vegetarian recipes.

Jenny
Affiliate Manager
Jenny connects us to and communicates with other businesses within the health and wellness community. She has a passion for holistic health and a belief that you are what you eat. She is studying holistic nutrition and supports a plant-based diet. Jenny works as an online freelancer and yoga instructor. Her philosophy is to live a life that connects and inspires.
